Our EHMS Flag flies at half-mast in honor of the SRO Deputy Chris Bachelor who died and for the Marines who died in Afghanistan last week. The flag will be flown half-mast until end of the day on Monday. Our EHMS Flag Team holds the responsibility of displaying our flag daily. The American Flag is an important symbol for our country and represents the unity of America, our common cause, and the hope for a better tomorrow.
East Hall Middle School Vikings are ready for the season opener on September 2nd, 5:00PM at East Hall Stadium.
All EHMS students should now have a Chromebook each day at school. All classes began instruction requiring a device on August 17. Students will bring home their Chromebook each day. Please help your student to remember to charge the Chromebook nightly and bring the Chromebook back to school each day. Please remember loss or damage (negligent or intentional) of your child’s school issued Chromebook will result in a fine charged following the fees table in the Student Device Agreement. Please help your child keep up with their device and keep the device in good condition.
If a student is absent on any date and able to complete school work at home, the student should complete their school assignments through Canvas. These assignments can be found by locating the “Assignments by Date” icon in each subject’s Canvas Course in Launchpoint.

EHMS will begin issuing Chromebooks to students this week. Students will NOT be issued a Chromebook if their parent has not signed the “Student Device Agreement”.
Students will come to the Learning Commons with their ELA class on their grade level’s assigned date to be issued their Chromebook.
Parents must have signed the student’s “Student Device Agreement” through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal in order for the student to be issued a Chromebook.
If a parent is unable to e-sign, parents may print and sign a paper copy of the form from the following links.
***If the paper signed option is selected, the student must have the paper signed “Student Device Agreement” in hand as they come through the line to check on Chromebooks on the grade’s assigned date (6th grade – 8/12, 7th grade 8/13, 8th grade – 8/16). Students may give their paper signed agreement to their ELA teacher for safe-keeping, if complete prior to their grade’s assigned date.***
NOTE: If neither the parent has e-signed through the “Infinite Campus Parent Portal” OR a paper signed copy is complete, the student will NOT be issued a Chromebook on the assigned date and will not have access to a school-issued Chromebook.

All parents who wish for their student to use an EHMS technology device (chromebook) for school and/or home use, need to login to the ePortal Parent Campus account and digitally sign the “23-24SY Device Acceptable Use/Checkout Agreement”. It is advisable that parents sign this form prior to open house and the first day of school, so that students will have a school issued device as soon as possible.
Below are directions for digitally signing the form.
PLEASE NOTE: You must sign into your Parent Campus eportal from a COMPUTER this school year in order to be able to access this document. You may not see the document if you login via the Campus Parent Phone App.
If a parent logs into the Parent Campus eportal from a computer, goes to the “documents” section and does NOT see the “Student Device Agreement” form, please email cyndi.anicetti@hallco.org (our EHMS Data Clerk) to have this form added to your Parent Campus documents. Include in the email your student’s name/student ID#/grade and the name of the parent accessing through eportal.
While you are on parent portal, in addition to the device form please also go through and read/sign the other forms for 23-24 that are marked “Needs Attention”.
