Dear East Hall Middle School Families,
It is with great excitement and a deep sense of honor that I introduce myself as the new Principal of East Hall Middle School for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. Having served as your Assistant Principal since 2021, I have fallen in love with this wonderful community, our incredible students, and our dedicated staff. I am thrilled to continue our journey together in this new role.
On a personal note, I am blessed to share my life with my husband, Chris. Together, we have four children and a beloved chocolate lab who keeps us on our toes. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and when you step through the doors of East Hall Middle School, please know that your children are part of our extended family as a Citizen Viking Scholar.
My professional journey has been entirely dedicated to the field of education, bringing a total of 24 years of experience across elementary and middle school classrooms as well as administrative leadership. I spent 11 years teaching 5th and 6th-grade students, followed by 6 years dedicated to 7th and 8th-grade English Language Arts. For the past 7 years, I have focused on building-level leadership, moving from an Assistant Administrator role into school administration as an Assistant Principal, and now, your Principal.
To ensure I can best support our teachers and students, I have continually paired my practical field experience with a rigorous pursuit of higher education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Gifted and Reading emphasis, an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a formal Educational Leadership Certification. Ultimately, I earned my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, where my doctoral dissertation focused heavily on building collective teacher efficacy utilizing professional learning, passion I bring directly into our school to support our amazing educators.
As your principal, my commitment is to foster a safe, rigorous, and highly engaging learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential. I am incredibly proud of the traditions we share at East Hall Middle School and look forward to building even stronger partnerships with our families this year.
Please note that our school building is undergoing comprehensive renovations this summer to improve our spaces for both students and staff. While our physical spaces are being transformed to better serve our students, our commitment to excellence remains unchanged.
