📚 Georgia Reads Week is here!
To kick off the week, EHMS students celebrated with an extra-special DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) in their ELA classes! We’re excited to keep the reading momentum going all week.
Parents, you can help too! Reading is social—even for middle schoolers. Ask your child about what they’re reading, share a book recommendation, or tell them about something you’re reading. A simple conversation can help keep reading a meaningful part of their lives.
💡 Try this: Ask, “What would you have done if you were the character?” Then listen and share your own thoughts.
