  • All students will be visiting the book fair in the library once with their ELA teacher.  All books in the book fair are Buy ONE, Get ONE FREE

Family Fair Lunchtime – Friday, April 18

You’re invited to join your child for lunch and the Book Fair on Friday, April 18! Come during your child’s scheduled lunchtime to eat together in the Library and shop at the Book Fair.

📌 Important Details:

  • All visitors must check in at the front office with a photo ID.

You may bring your own lunch or purchase a school lunch for $5 (cash, check, or MyPaymentsPlus funds).

E-Wallet

Parents can use eWallet to load your child’s spending account. Please add all funds to your child’s eWallet transactions by 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 22.

  • Load your child’s spending account online from home and your child can shop at the book fair at school.

East Hall Middle’s SPRING Picture Day is coming up on Thursday, February 27th.

Orders must be placed before picture day.  Only students who have purchased a Spring package prior to picture day will be photographed.

Order forms went home with students in late January.

Spring Picture Day Packages

EHMS Fall Picture retakes will be on Thursday, November 21.

All students who missed the original picture day in October should have their picture taken. Students may also choose to retake their photo if they were unhappy with their first picture.

These photos will be used for your student’s yearbook photo.

Curriculum Night – September 24

EHMS Families,

Due to inclement weather, Hall County Schools will be closed on Thursday, 9/26 and Friday, 9/27. Students will complete school from home virtually. Virtual learning assignments are posted for our students in each course on Canvas under “Assignments by Date.” Students will ONLY complete classwork for three classes per day.

For parents, here are details on accessing assignments by date from Canvas: https://ehms.hallco.org/web/parent-connections-september/  . Students access their work every day at school by following this procedure.

  • On Thursday, September 26, students should complete the assignments posted for their 1st, 3rd, and 5th periods.
  • On Friday, September 27, students should complete the assignments posted for their 2nd, 4th, and 6th periods.

Students can contact their teachers via Canvas Inbox Message.

Assignments can be completed on paper. If you have limited power/wifi, you may choose to screenshot the directions from a phone for later viewing.

Additionally, all students are also asked to read a book or magazine of their choice for 30 minutes each day. (Students should have a DEAR book in their bookbag). And if you have access to power and Wi-Fi, please encourage your child to work on one recommended skill in iXL each day. iXL is available on LaunchPoint.

We are sending Chromebooks home charged. Please ensure that Chromebooks are used for school purposes only while at home.

Familias de estudiantes de EHMS,

Debido al mal tiempo, las escuelas del condado de Hall estarán cerradas el jueves 26 de septiembre y el viernes 27 de septiembre. Los estudiantes completarán las tareas desde casa de manera virtual. Las tareas de cada clase se publicarán virtualmente para nuestros estudiantes en Canvas en “Tareas por fecha”. Los estudiantes completarán SOLO el trabajo de tres clases por día.

Para los padres, aquí hay detalles sobre cómo acceder a las tareas por fecha desde Canvas: https://ehms.hallco.org/web/parent-connections-september/  . Los estudiantes pueden acceder a su trabajo de todos los días de la escuela siguiendo este procedimiento.
